Never save anything for your next book, because that possible creation may not be properly shaped to hold the thoughts you're working with today. In fiction especially, anything that could happen, should happen.

Every year about this time, I shave after growing a full beard. Don't know why... just seems to be the pattern. Maybe to remember why I grow the goatee in the first place ;)

Yeah... Nick and I were playing around with the camera, making goofy faces. His "evil eyes" picture cracks me up. And he did an hysterical take on riding a horse last night that had Aaron and me in stitches. The boy has a keen sense of physical humor.

LOL! More goofball drama could not be found on television today than can be found right here at beatcanvas!

Hey---the lack of facial hair surprised me too...but then, so did the lack of ...well, face! Okay, that sounds mean, but I mean it in a complimentary way. It's a great face, but there is a lot less of it than there used to be! :-)

I appreciate the compliment, Bella (who, by the way, celebrated her birthday yesterday!)
