Random Quote We write to expose the unexposed. If there is one door in the castle you have been told not to go through, you must. Otherwise, you're just be rearranging the furniture in rooms you've already been in. Most human beings are dedicated to keeping that one door shut. But the writer's job is to see what's behind it, too see the bleak unspeakable stuff, and to turn the unspeakable into words - not just any words, but if we can, into rhythm and blues. -- Anne Lamott

I found a way to prevent using excess acrylic: paint cups. I squeeze a bunch of paint into these cups, and the lid keeps them from drying out. When I'm ready to use some paint, I scoop only what I need from the cup and onto my palette paper. That, and cling wrap, once the paint is on the palette paper. Big cost savings and it allows me to take breaks, which are always healthy. |
