Random Quote I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others, rather than to be false, and to incur my own abhorrence. -- Frederick Douglass

Been a while, but here I go... thirty minutes into this one. I have a ways to go... This is where I left off back in May. May, fer chrissakes! Oy... but I needed to reconsider how to create and sell my cards. Lessons learned: - Women buy.
 - Specific and detailed people don't sell.
 - Good words make the card more attractive. (Just as poignant lyrics make the pretty melody much more desireable.)
 - Somehow, my cards seem to sell in larger quantities (a dozen at a time, or so).
Am I talking about a catalog of some sort?So I'm listening to Handel and painting... Yeah, I like painting people, but I also like painting the cards. I'll find a happy medium or do both. But really, I like painting and want to be my own boss, so painting cards wins over painting people for now. |
