Random Quote

You expect far too much of a first sentence. Think of it as analogous to a good country breakfast: what we want is something simple, but nourishing to the imagination. Hold the philosophy, hold the adjectives, just give us a plain subject and verb and perhaps a wholesome, nonfattening adverb or two.

Could be worse. You could be on vacation and have it rain like this. :-)

Lovely picture, but if the rain really brings you down, look the other direction...at the grass. When I went out this morning the depth of the green took my breath away. And the jonquils and tulips and hyacinth are going nutty...plenty of color there, even under the grey sky.

I agree, Bella. I came out this morning and saw how green everything is getting! Buds on the trees, Cottonwoods in bloom, and Tulips, my personal favorite. I also love the smell in the air when it rains. And it's soothing so I slept very well last night.

lol Bella - I hope the weather didn't interfere with vacation plans!

Okay, I'm in the minority. But the rain interferes with my bicycling, so I'm forced to drive my truck to work. And I hate driving... thoguh I do love the greenery.
