For the search terms, "Brett Rogers" and "Iowa Art Blog," I'm now number one for both Google searches. Woo hoo! I'm number two/number one at Yahoo. How do you drive your PageRank within Google and get a high placement with Yahoo? 1) Use the title tag for your keywords. 2) Be sure that your visible text on the page contains the search phrase often. 3) Link to others and encourage others to link to you. The more you're networked, the more popular you are. 4) Metatags don't do much, but they can't hurt. Too many people overemphasize these. That's it. |
