There is no royal path to good writing; and such paths as exist do not lead through neat critical gardens, various as they are, but through the jungles of self, the world, and of craft.

Creepy

These videos of school kids singing/chanting songs in praise of Barack Obama... my god. We don't teach kids songs about other presidents or politicians. That's loony as hell. The teachers who endorsed this ought to be fired for extreme lack of judgment.

These videos are the best possible ads for homeschooling I've ever seen.

Michelle Malkin and Breitbart TV have been pointing out another today of people who appear to actually be praying to Obama.

My skin started to crawl when I heard the first of these songs. And I had just started to get the tune "Solid as Barack..." out of my head from the election.

With educators like this who think this is acceptable no wonder the public school system is in the shape it is.

Thanks for the link, Casey. Those videos... I wonder how those kids are gonna feel when they're grown up and they look back at it.

Solid as Barack... as if he were solid. All his positions are made of tissue paper.

I watched the video... I couldn't stop laughing 20 seconds into it. I didn't even know about this, PR, so thanks for the early morning guffaw. How embarrassing for the singers.

LOL anytime :o). Hollywood, the music industry, I'm gonna need a database to keep track of the movies I won't see/music I won't be listening to.
