Will Obama Get Torricelli'd? |
I sent this in to the tips email at Hot Air because I fgured they could determine this possibility better than anyone, but here's what I asked: Originally, I thought that Biden might get Eagleton'd. But it's not Biden making the big gaffes and turning off the electorate that would require his replacement. It's Obama. Can the Democrat party replace Obama with Clinton like they replaced Torricelli with Lautenberg? I don't know if the election rules allow that sort of thing, but Republicans didn't think such a thing was allowed in 2002 in New Jersey either. |

The Torch scenario is interesting. Although I don't see Barry stepping down without some major dirt coming out, the dems have shown they will break the rules if the polling numbers are bad enough. So, how far would they take it and what damage will it cause inside the party? I think we'll be finding out pretty soon as these polling numbers get worse. You know damn well they won't just sit back and lose. It isn't the democratic way. Litigate and lie should be their motto. |
