Palin

I could be wrong, but it's looking like it's Sarah Palin for McCain's VP. We find out later today.

I first wrote about a Romney-Palin ticket back in December 2007. I was wrong about Romney, who almost beat McCain, but at least Palin got there. McCain made the right pick, for so many reasons. She's a strong executive running on an anti-corruption platform in Alaska. She's smart, she's young. Brilliant choice :)

So yep, there's no competition: McCain-Palin in November.

ETC: What a speech!

YYYEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

I just caught Fox News and Carl Cameron can't even get her name right. He's called her Susan Palin at least 5 times. "Campaign Carl" (and most of the MSM) got caught with their pants down on this one. Kinda funny as they play catch up now. I just caught another commenter and I'd bet $20 they got the info from Sara Palin's Wikipedia page (talking about her nickname as a high school basketball player.

Smart, smart choice by McCain.

No kidding?! Wow. What a wonderful choice. I didn't see that coming. :)

The best part of this is going to be watching the media. Can't wait for the inevitable faux pas by Biden. And Barack "Sweetie" Obama probably can't help himself either.

De-lish!

“Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency." The audacity of Team Barry knows no bounds. I can't wait for the response.

I'm jacked up. RNC just pulled me back to the party. Wallet is open, I'll have a sign in my yard, what a wonderful day.

P.S. If you want a good laugh, turn on the tv and watch the Obama water carriers try to explain his supierior experience. I haven't laughed so hard in months.

I contributed already. I'll probably do so again next month. Yep, I'm back in.

I think I'll make me two bumper stickers this weekend: "McCain/Palin" and one like my Hype yard sign.

I hope that they keep pointing at Palin's narrow foreign policy experience. I hear Obama went overseas on vacation a few times. Oh - and recently, he went to Berlin.

BWAH-HA-HA-HA!

I wonder if this is what the "Chris Matthews Leg Tingle" feels like? LOL!

The word of the day is "AWESOME!"

Did you actually put that Hype sign in the yard? I love it!

I wanted to, but our neighbor two doors down has their Obama sign out, and Tamara (wisely) didn't want us fighting with the neighbors.

For what it's worth, it's my Photoshopped picture of their sign here on my site...

Love Palin's "18 million cracks" comment. Yes, indeed - awesome day. This is the kind of chess that McCain will play with Putin, and that's why McCain needs to win big in November.

That is probably a smart move, but you can always put out the McCain-Palin sign. :)

We've got our own "rock star" now. Someone conservatives can really get behind. Someone who walks the walk and isn't just talk. I welcome debate on "experience" and won't concede any VP debate to Biden. Biden didn't do that well in the democratic debate, what makes them think he'll do better with Palin? Most likely his arrogant, smarmy demeanor will turn off more voters. The upside for Palin on the ticket far exceeds what Biden does for Obama. Now let's get Barry off the teleprompter and watch him debate. Ahhhhh, ummmmm, ummmmm.

The 18 million cracks, showing respect to Ferraro and Hillary, I don't care what the "pundits" say, she will draw some of the vote from women. What a fantastic speech to get the ball rolling. And kudos to McCain for stealing all of the thunder from Barry's great moment.

This is something special for the conservative movement that we can all take a moment to embrace. I was too young to know enough/appreciate Reagan at the time. This is something I can now embrace. It is much more than a "tingle up my leg."

Geez, I'm out on appointments all day and come back to 8 posts. Looks like you two are as excited as I am about Palin. I've had a smile on my face all day, literally. Shortly after hearing the announcment I called a good friend who's right in line with our thinking and before I could say anything he said, "Yes, I'm VERY happy".

What a great move... Barry, the canidate for hope and change, picks Biden, who is anything but change. McCain counters with Palin. Wow. I can't say that enough. WOW!

Off to make some dinner. Is it safe to dance for joy while wielding chef knives? :)

Hey Kelly! It is safe as long as there are no Obama followers nearby. :)

Yeah, Tamara tells me it's safe... she does it joyfully all the time.

By the way, I want a video of that...
