Feeding the Beast that Bites Your Hand

After the election, I looked for signs that things might change, but I'm seeing quite the opposite.

What a lot of Republicans are learning, and what some have known for a very long time, is that this is a culture war. Waging that culture war on the Left: schools, Hollywood, TV, mainstream news outlets, the music industry, universities...

And waging that war on the Right:...

Well, no one. At least not anyone who gets any mainstream attention.

So those on the Right, being the disciplined lot that they are, they stop giving money to schools, Hollywood, TV, mainstream news outlets, the music industry, universities... correct?

Every time I hear a "conservative" talk of watching MSNBC or CNN, I know this will never change. It's feeding the beast that bites your hand, and most people just can't help themselves.

By the way, for what it's worth, you have to live in Canada for 1095 days (three years) before you have the option of being a citizen. You do that by applying for a multi-entry visa, if you plan to have any international mobility while there.

I'm working my way in that direction because I refuse to feed the beast that bites me.
